A signature is required upon receipt. If you are not available to sign for your delivery, Royal Mail will leave a calling card detailing collection instructions from your nearest depot.
Orders outside the UK will be delivered within 3-4 working days.


AVAILABILITY AND DESPATCH

We take pride in the way we buy our jewellery, enabling us to supply most of our range from stock, therefore, we will endeavour to have your order delivered to you the following day providing your order is placed before 1.30pm.
Items that do not state a next day delivery will be delivered to you within the timescales shown. Each product will show current delivery information, mostly stating a 2-3 day delivery(this is to your doorstep). We will confirm by email, once your order has been despatched.

INSURANCE

Royal Mail’s UK Special Delivery service includes insurance which covers loss and damage up to the value of £250.00. This insurance cover also applies to countries outside the UK.

RETURNS POLICY

All of our jewellery, with the exception of Earrings due to hygiene and TI2 Titanium jewellery, which is all hand made and customer specific, carries a 7 day, no quibble money back guarantee. (postage costs are not refunded unless the jewellery is damaged).

If you are not entirely delighted with your purchase, all goods must be returned in the prestine condition in which despatched.
In the rare instance that product is faulty (this should never happen as all our products are checked and packaged securely before shipment), we will refund your money or replace. Before return of any item, please contact us by clicking here to obtain an authorisation returns number. Reason for return and return number must be indicated upon return. All goods returned are at the senders expense (unless faulty).
We recommend that Royal Mail Special Delivery service is used for adequate insurance, in the event of loss or non delivery.
Please note that if we deem the jewellery to be misused or damaged, refund or replacement will not be issued.

Our jewellery undergoes a 100% quality inspection both upon receipt from our suppliers and before your order is despatched.

925 STERLING SILVER

Sterling silver is a precious metal and contains 92.5% silver.
92.5% is the legal standard of purity set by the Assay offices in Britain and used for most silver jewellery all over the world.
Pure jewellery is too soft to be practical, so to strengthen the silver and make it durable to wear as jewellery, it is often alloyed with small amounts of copper(7.5%).
The 925 mark denotes the piece is made from sterling silver.

Caring for your Sterling Silver Jewellery

‘Remember to clean regularly to keep the sparkle’

  • Altaygo want you to enjoy wearing your jewellery, whilst it is generally resilient to every day normal wear and tear, it still requires being cared for.
  • We would like to advise you to keep your jewellery in the presentation box in which it arrived.
  • Try to keep pieces apart so they don’t rub together or tangle up.
  • Silver needs to be cleaned on a regular basis as it can tarnish in time, when exposed to the atmosphere. Tarnishing is not permanent.
  • Some items occasionally oxidise (turn black) as when they come into contact with your skin, the natural acids can react to the additional metals that make up the silver.
  • To maintain the original condition of your jewellery, polish with a non-abrasive cloth of a high quality silver cloth.
  • Hot soapy water will also help to keep your jewellery looking good, but always dry with a soft cloth, not tissue or paper towel.
  • You can even immerse your silver in the water in which potatoes have been boiled, this results in brilliant sparkle. Try it…………….it works!!
  • Do not use a silver dip
  • Do not leave your gemstones immersed in water for too long as some stones can be quite porous.

With proper care, your silver jewellery will last a life time.
